Job Summary
Obtain accurate and updated patient information, including name, address, and insurance details. Perform insurance verification on the date of service and secure patient signatures for required documents. File, fax, and maintain medical records while scanning documents and monitoring the fax server. Confirm and schedule appointments, manage the front desk in-basket pool, and check patients in and out. Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly and courteously. Perform referral documentation and follow-up services, such as scheduling specialist and follow-up appointments. Adhere to Payment Security policies, Sparq employee policies, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements. Work cohesively with the care team to meet financial, clinical, and service goals in a high-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of computer proficiency experience
- 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working in medical front office/ Urgent Care position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, and maintaining medical records
