Job Summary
Obtain accurate patient information, verify insurance on the date of service, and secure patient signatures for required documents. File, fax, and maintain medical records while confirming and scheduling appointments. Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly, check patients in and out, and manage the front desk in-basket pool. Perform referral documentation and follow-up services, such as scheduling specialist and follow-up appointments. Adhere to Payment Security policies, Sparq employee policies, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements. Maintain a work queue list, scan documents, monitor the fax server, and ensure continuity of care through tracking systems. Work cohesively with the care team in a high-pace environment to meet financial, clinical, and service goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of computer proficiency experience
- 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working in medical front office/ Urgent Care position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, and maintaining medical records
