Associate Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

Schedule and triage appointment requests according to approved protocols, consult clinicians for clinical decisions, and use the EHR to take messages and communicate with providers. Greet patients, conduct check-ins, monitor reminder logs to reschedule visits, and scan documents into the system. Close payment batches and balance them per cash control procedures while maintaining knowledge of OSHA and ProHealth policies. Assist coworkers to ensure smooth office operations. Full-time 40-hour week Monday through Friday, 7am to 6:30pm with occasional Saturday coverage; may float to local practices.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 1+ years of receptionist experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time within 30 miles of territory assigned
  • must have reliable transportation

Desired Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
  • 6+ months of experience working with an electronic health record
