Associate Patient Access Services Representative-PER DIEM

Conduct pre-registration, registration, and insurance verification duties for inpatient and outpatient access to medical services. Obtain demographic and insurance information, enter data into computer systems, and collect signatures on medical, legal, and financial forms. Verify patient insurance coverage with third-party carriers, obtain necessary authorizations, and document approvals or denials. Collect money due from patients at the time of service and perform related billing and receivable functions. Requires a high school diploma, 0-1 years of relevant experience, and preferred healthcare or remote setting experience.
