Job Summary
Lead client relationships and drive business growth for the Retirement Consulting practice by cultivating partnerships with existing and new clients. Deliver high-level actuarial consulting services that design retirement plans, assess funding and risk, and navigate regulatory compliance while identifying new revenue opportunities. Mentor team members and foster collaboration within the Defined Benefits space to ensure effective delivery and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in pension plan consulting
- Professional actuarial designation such as FCIA, ASA or FSA
- Strong client relationship management, up to C-suite, based on trusted advisor model
- Solid understanding of actuarial principles, financial markets, and industry developments and emerging trends
- Ability to identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and meet budget and profitability targets
- Proven leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Ability to understand client needs, provide strategic guidance, and ensure client satisfaction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of mathematical models and statistical analysis
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex actuarial concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Continuous learning and staying updated with the latest developments in actuarial science and industry trends
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Knowledge of English is required for this position, it is because the team member will be asked, on a regular basis, to interact in English with external or internal parties or to use English applications or software as part of their tasks
