Job Summary
Associate Painter on 2nd shift responsible for loading/unloading paint line products and supporting powder coat operators; perform quality inspections, check millage thickness, and titrate chemicals. Role includes monitoring wash system titration levels, training on other equipment, and ensuringPainting sequence adheres to schedule with safety procedures. Shift differential of $2.50 per hour applied on the 2nd shift, with pay of $19/hour. Require high school diploma or GED (preferred), 1 year manufacturing experience, and Powered Industrial Truck certification (to be obtained at hire). Must read and interpret drawings, measure with tape to 1/32", and operate in a production environment with adherence to quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- 1 year related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent
- Powered Industrial Truck certification (will certify at hire)
- Ability to read and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret drawings
- Tape measure to 1/32" tolerance and use of combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree
- Mathematical reasoning and problem solving
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds
- Safety compliance and willingness to train on equipment
