Job Summary
Associate Packaging Specialist drives design, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliant, high‐quality packaging solutions. Partners cross‐functionally to manage material qualification, integrate packaging specs into SAP (including BOM creation), support new product launches, and deliver cost and quality improvements while advancing sustainability. Role is fully onsite in Eau Claire, WI with frequent travel to Anderson, IN (including a 6‐month on‐site assignment); responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and packaging system performance, plus supporting installation and knowledge transfer to reduce recurring issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science/Engineering or related field
- Packaging experience, preferably in food & beverage
- Knowledge of packaging specifications, materials, equipment, and systems
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and food safety standards
- Working knowledge of project lifecycle, contracts, and schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
- Preferred: SAP and CAPE palletization experience
