Associate or Senior Editor, Nature Communications (Interdisciplinary social and health research)

Nature Communications is seeking an Associate or Senior Editor with a multidisciplinary focus at the intersection of social and health sciences (e.g., psychology, economics, public health) to handle original research papers, oversee peer review, determine subject representation, liaise with other editors in the Nature family, attend conferences, and commission/edit Reviews and Editorials. This is a permanent, full-time role located at one of our offices in Shanghai, Beijing, or Pune with a hybrid working model. To be considered, candidates should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a related field, demonstrate broad and deep understanding of recent trends in the field, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be fluent in English, and be eager to travel to engage with scientists worldwide. Editorial experience is not required but is encouraged and may be considered for Senior Editor positions.
