Job Summary
Associate or Senior Associate to join the Competition team in Melbourne, working on ACCC competition and consumer law investigations, merger clearances, authorisations and consumer protection matters. You will collaborate with corporate clients, international law firms and governments across a national team, supporting complex matters and contributing to business development. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' post admission
- Australia, UK, NZ, Hong Kong or South African qualified, or US/European qualified with substantial competition law experience
- Strong experience in advising clients on competition and consumer law matters
- Strong technical skills and the ability to deliver quality, commercial and pragmatic advice efficiently and under pressure
- A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry experts
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- An interest in and willingness to contribute to business development initiatives including presentations, client training and publications
