Job Summary
Associate or Mid-Level Industrial Engineer responsible for applying industrial engineering concepts to product, process, and service requirements of moderate complexity. Key duties include maintaining plant layouts and capacity plans, evaluating new techniques for production integration, designing and optimizing the production system across design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel, developing moderately complex data models and analyses to inform leadership, and supporting process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, and improve quality for large-scale systems. Requires a BS in engineering or related field, at least 1 year in manufacturing/production and in defining/improving production processes, plus proficient use of Microsoft Office and strong communication/organizational skills. Preferred ABET-accredited BS and 3+ years of related experience. Relocation is offered based on eligibility. The role includes compliance with safety standards and export-control considerations as applicable, and visa sponsorship is not available. Location: North Charleston, South Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or production environment
- 1 year of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
- 1 year of experience working in Microsoft Office Suite products
- An ABET accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- Excellent with effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
