Job Summary
Associate Optometrist needed in a high-end, high-volume private practice in Montebello, CA. The OD will practice full-scope optometry with complete autonomy, with techs pre-testing and performing CL training. Responsibilities include routine examinations, specialty contact lens fittings with emphasis on scleral lenses and myopia control, and potential on-site scleral lens/myopia training. Practice features advanced equipment (Topcon auto-phoropters, Crystal EHR, Optos, iCare Tonometer, Topographer, sMap 3D scleral topographer) and an in-house lab, with a showroom of luxury brands (e.g., Chanel, Gucci, Burberry, Saint Laurent, Versace, Tom Ford, Tiffany). Sundays shifts are currently needed. The practice has VR Progressives and is located in Montebello, within the San Gabriel Valley east of Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- OD license to practice in California
- Optometry degree (OD)
- California state licensure for optometry
- ability to perform full-scope optometry and scleral lens training (preferred)
