Job Summary
Identify, design, and automate repetitive operational processes while developing scalable software solutions that enhance operational support and system resilience. Design and maintain automation frameworks for operational checks, system monitoring, and testing activities, implementing proactive monitoring solutions to detect anomalies and trigger alerts. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate automation into existing platforms, support system upgrades and releases, and deliver urgent ad hoc development changes. Develop dashboards and analytics to meet management reporting requirements, ensuring robust data management and documentation are maintained. Provide team coverage and contribute to ad hoc operational responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience in Automation Engineering, Operational Engineering, or RPA development
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Experience using automation tools and RPA platforms
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform and modern web technologies
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern development practices
- Strong communication, collaborator management, and organisational capabilities
- Awareness of automation & RPA: Leapwork, UiPath, Power Automate
- Programming & Scripting: Python, JavaScript, HTML, JSON
- Awareness of Monitoring & Observability: Datadog, Control-M, Corvil
- DevOps & CI/CD: GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins
- Data & Analytics: SQL, Power BI
- Microsoft Power Platform and Office 365
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Agile methodologies, sprint delivery, and project management
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-sufficient and proactive, while contributing as a strong team player
- A strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality with good attention to detail
- Adaptable and resilient, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Must be available for Standard UK Shift - 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Sri Lankan Time)
- Hybrid workstyle (3 days in office)
