Job Summary
Associate Operations (OK Pork) in Holdenville, OK, is a trainee-level role within Tyson Foods’ production facility. The position focuses on learning all aspects of production operations, promoting a safe working environment, and producing a quality product efficiently. Responsibilities include observing and learning to ensure the area runs at maximum capacity with high quality, coordinating with Maintenance and other resources to keep equipment functioning according to government regulations, and training towards supervisory duties over a designated area. The role involves collaborating with Accounting, Human Resources, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance, performing duties as needed, and supporting supervisors and managers. Education preferred is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; travel and bilingual (English/Spanish) ability are required; a valid driver’s license and willingness to comply with biosecurity and PPE requirements are expected. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in live swine production; knowledge of animal flow, processing, ventilation, feeding, and vaccination protocols
- Strong verbal and written communication; bilingual English and Spanish required
- Basic computer skills
- Driver’s license
- Ability to meet physical requirements and PPE usage
- Willingness to sign animal welfare policy and biosecurity protocols
