Associate Operations Coordinator, Events

Job Summary
Coordinate, prepare, and schedule client-facing events across Indiana in support of Purdue MEP Operations. Assist with planning and preparation of events, kit logistics, training material preparation, registrations, room reservations, lead generation, and internal communications. Help develop and revise curriculum, update presentations, and organize participant guides. Provide administrative support for workshops and marketing materials, and assist with website updates. Collaborate with the Operations team to cross-train and improve efficiency. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), zero to one year of experience, strong written/verbal/interpersonal communication, ability to manage multiple priorities, confidentiality, attention to detail, and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Local office located in Carmel, Indiana; FLSA: Exempt; background check required; no relocation sponsorship for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business administration, Manaagement, Information Technology or a related field
- Zero to one year of experience
- Equivalent combination of required education and related work experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions, prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality
- Meticulously detail oriented with strong organizational and team management skills
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet
