Job Summary
Lead the Central Sterilising Services Department by ensuring re-usable medical devices are sterilised and ready for use, maintaining the highest standards for patient safety and healthcare efficiency. Manage high-level disinfection, packing, and sterilisation processes while overseeing loans equipment and sterile stores operations. Collaborate closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and team to uphold the organisation's values in daily health care delivery. Required Qualifications
- extensive experience in CSSD
- comprehensive medical instrument knowledge
- Knowledge in high level disinfection, packing and sterilisation of RMDs
- Knowledge of loans equipment and sterile stores processes
- Leading, managing and working along side the Nurse Unit Manager - CSSD and the team
- Criminal record and/or child protection checks
- compliance with the SVHA Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy
- mandatory immunisations/vaccinations
