Job Summary
Associate, NOC Relations & Planning responsible for cultivating relationships with 15-25 NOCs/NPCs, overseeing client communications, supporting the review and production of key documents and resources, managing client escalation pathways, coordinating NOC/NPC visits, supporting pre-Games readiness activities (Open Days, Chefs de Mission Seminars, etc.), and contributing to NOC/NPC planning and Games-time operations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Smartsheet or similar tools, data analytics capabilities, and strong client-management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Multilingual ability and international experience are highly preferred. The role is based onsite in Downtown Los Angeles with an annual base salary of $69,000-$79,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Multilingual: English as primary working language; fluent written and spoken French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, or other languages highly preferred
- Experience with Office suite products including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with Smartsheet or other project management tools
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools a plus
- Global Business Exposure: Experience collaborating with international organizations or conducting business across regions
- International Relations: Experience in global engagement, cultural awareness, and international client management
- Sport Industry Expertise: Background in sport organizations, membership management, or account management
- Major Event Operations: Hands-on experience delivering large-scale events or managing complex and demanding event operations
- Core Event Functions: Familiarity with key operational areas such as sport events, client services, international relations, transportation, accommodations, logistics, accreditation, and food & beverage
- Olympic & Paralympic Knowledge: Understanding the structure, protocols, and requirements of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
