Job Summary
Assist borrowers throughout the loan process from application to closing while supporting Loan Officers with lead conversion, client communication, and pipeline management. Build relationships with real estate agents, brokerages, and industry professionals to help create an exceptional customer experience through proactive communication. Learn mortgage products, guidelines, and lending strategies while staying current on industry trends, loan programs, and regulatory requirements. Develop the skills and knowledge needed to eventually manage your own production pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, escrow, title, banking, financial services, sales, customer service, or a related field
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Success in this role comes from curiosity, coachability, and a desire to help people achieve homeownership
- Desire to learn the mortgage business and eventually become a producing Loan Officer
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Existing NMLS license is preferred but not required; licensing support may be available depending on experience and state requirements
