Job Summary
Associate in JPMorganChase's Mid-Cap Financial Sponsors Group supporting senior team members, prospecting, pitching, and executing transactions for private equity firms and their portfolio companies; assisting in client meetings, due diligence, and the preparation of presentations to sponsor clients; coordinating with product partners; performing portfolio reviews and KPI tracking; mentoring Analysts and contributing to deal structuring and negotiation of legal documents; building and maintaining client relationships to identify new opportunities across sponsor coverage efforts; ensuring seamless deal closing and funding with internal support departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of related experience in financial services, investment banking, commercial banking, or private equity
- FINRA Series 79, Series 63, and SIE required (or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic, motivation, and ability to collaborate across teams
- Personal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualities
- Capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contact
