Job Summary

Provide logistical and administrative support to leaders driving MI Health cross-cutting initiatives by conducting research on programmatic areas and synthesizing findings for presentations and reports. Assist with domestic and international events, including maintaining invitee lists, managing communications, and coordinating operational tasks for staff meetings and standard operating procedures. Draft and format internal and external communications, take meeting notes, track action items, and maintain documentation in SharePoint and Teams. Support office needs through inventory management, supply ordering, and travel coordination with associated expense reporting.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Experience conducting, analyzing, and synthesizing literature reviews across a range of health-related topics
  • Interest in or familiarity with one or more of the Milken Institute Health portfolio areas, initiatives, and relevant stakeholders
  • High competence with technology and/or experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Office 365 and Teams)
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and is proactive
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Three (3) days per week reporting in-person to the Washington, DC office location (Tuesday – Thursday)
  • The remaining two (2) days working remotely
  • Travel occasionally to other offices and/or venues to assist with events as needed
  • Occasional work outside of traditional hours
  • Interact virtually on a regular basis with Milken Institute staff based in other locations in the United States and around the world
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Being authorized to work in the U.S.
