Job Summary
Conduct product development by identifying potential vendors through pre-screening their capacity and capabilities, then execute buying trips from start to finish including cost negotiation and sample management. Negotiate prices based on deep product understanding while ensuring supplier quotations are completed timely for decision-making. Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to identify and resolve testing and production issues upfront, and partner with the order execution team before initial PO placement. Maintain strong relationships with local vendors by monitoring performance against company standards, coaching them on standard procedures, and investigating market trends to prepare monthly status reports for managers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of practical experience in products
- Excellent English skills in reading and writing
- Knowledge of sourcing and product development
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
