Job Summary
Associate Merchandiser Analyst at Tesco focused on Home & Clothing. Responsible for collating and standardising business reporting requirements, analysing existing reports to optimise performance, and delivering dashboards and summaries to enable user-friendly insights. Works within the Home & Clothing Central Team, collaborates with Merchandising and Commercial functions, and uses Agile practices to drive rapid business value. Builds tools and training documentation, facilitates simplification and standardisation across Home & Clothing, presents enhancements to users for successful adoption, and communicates complex technical issues between business users and technical experts. Requires strong technical/problem-solving skills, knowledge of SQL and VBA, experience with Tableau, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Co-pilot; ability to manage stakeholder expectations and support tool training and roll-out. Location is Welwyn Garden City, UK with a hybrid work arrangement (60% office, remainder remote).
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Good commercial understanding of the Buying and Merchandising process
- Experience with BI tools e.g., Tableau
- Proficiency in coding languages e.g., SQL and VBA
- Familiar with Microsoft Suite e.g., Excel, Co-pilot
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical issues effectively between business users and technical experts
- Effective stakeholder management and training rollout experience
