Job Summary
Associate Mental Health Therapist provides psychotherapeutic treatment for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, existential search for meaning, family & relationship issues, and deeper self-awareness. The role includes maintaining quality clinical documentation, handling a growing caseload (minimum of 10 clients per week over six months), and participating in weekly clinical supervision. Flexible schedule with availability on Fridays (and Saturdays as needed), and potential for flexible work-from-home options within a collaborative holistic team. The practice handles billing, credentialing, and provides clients and office space. Priorities include building trust and rapport, working with clients in a holistic, integrative framework, and aligning with startup-culture dynamics.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or similar
- Must be registered as A-MFT, A-CSW or A-PCC with the CA state Board of Behavioral Science
- Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and punctuality
- Must be able to provide therapy blending spiritual practices such as Buddhism, Mindfulness, etc.
- Must have proof of malpractice insurance
