Job Summary
Process member inquiries via telephone, in-person, and digital channels while managing cash box duties, account origination, and transaction balancing. Greet members courteously, operate drive-through windows, and balance vaults, ATMs, and coin sorters. Evaluate mobile and ATM check deposits, verify cash shipments, and process wire transfers and foreign currency orders. Troubleshoot account and card issues, resolve disputes, and handle negative checking reports under supervision. Organize daily documents and complete assigned administrative tasks. Begin learning account opening procedures, CXone systems, and financial advisory referrals. Maintain daily and monthly records for reports and forgeries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must possess an aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to comprehend and carry out job demands
- Must be able to comprehend phone calls
- Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds
- Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory
- Must complete the Credit Unions Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science degree via the North Carolina Community College Transfer Program (NC-CTP)
