Job Summary
Conduct member interactions, assist with account maintenance, and process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Advise members on products and services, execute supervisor overrides when necessary, and safeguard workstations while maintaining accurate cash counts. Perform service center opening and closing procedures, assist with account openings and closings, and complete required annual compliance training. Work Saturday shifts one or more weekends per month with up to 25% travel. Maintain professional demeanor and resolve member inquiries regarding online banking, plastic cards, and wire exchanges.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience working in retail setting with daily customer interaction
- Excellent communications skills (both oral and written)
- Professional appearance and demeanor, good interpersonal relations skills, and positive and optimistic outlook
- Strong knowledge of retail delivery products and other Credit Union products and services
- Strong and consistent sales and service performance
- Ability to gather and analyze data
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationship with management, peers, employees, and vendors
- Will be expected to work Saturday shifts one or more weekends per month
- Normal physical mobility and agility, which includes movement from place to place on the job, and the ability to maneuver body while in place
- Normal dexterity of hands and fingers
- Normal coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot
- Work requires occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, taking frequency into consideration
Desired Qualifications
- Experience preferred in cash handling and clerical office work
