Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist - Molecular Genomics

Job Summary
Perform high-complexity molecular genomics testing and report results accurately and timely under minimal supervision. Execute pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, instrument maintenance and problem resolution. Collaborate with acute-care and outpatient caregivers and Laboratory Services staff to support patient care. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences and certification within 180 days of hire (MLS/MT) from recognized bodies; Full-Time role based in Portland, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Medical Technologist - ASCP, AMT, AAB, or equivalent
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from NAACLS accredited MLS program
- 1 year experience (preferred)
