Job Summary

Serve as Global Medical Advisor and Scientific Advisor on assigned IQVIA oncology projects, providing guidance to Project Leaders on medical and scientific aspects. Deliver therapeutic area training, review protocols, Investigative Drug Brochures, and Case Report Forms, and present at Investigator Meetings. Manage protocol clarifications, inclusion/exclusion determinations, and patient safety issues for investigative sites while attending Kick-Off and weekly team meetings. Review Clinical Study Reports, Serious Adverse Events, and adverse event coding in collaboration with Pharmacovigilance. Available 24/7 for urgent protocol questions from sites, with potential for regular travel and extensive keyboard/telephone use.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school with a curriculum relevant to general medical education
  • 5-7 years of experience in clinical medicine
  • Ability to work in partnership with a multidisciplinary group of colleagues, including translating concepts into practical approaches and promoting consensus
  • Outstanding ability to work independently with minimal supervision, ability to work effectively within a team, and matrix environment
  • Ability to organize and work efficiently on several projects, each with specific requirements and/or shifting priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Board certification or board qualifications in medical oncology, radiation oncology, hematology or internal medicine (with hematology or oncology experience)
