Job Summary
The Associate Medical Director will assist the CMO in overseeing the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivered to Network Health members by chairing at least 3 quality and accreditation committees. Key responsibilities include monitoring care rendered by providers, participating in clinical decision-making, developing quality care guidelines, providing medical consultations, and serving as a liaison between NHP and healthcare providers. Candidates must be licensed MD or DO in Wisconsin and board certified in an ABMS specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO), licensed in the state of Wisconsin without restriction
- Board certified in an ABMS medical specialty
- Member in good standing of the local medical community
- Active practitioner of medicine in the NHP service areas
- Thorough knowledge of the health professional and facilities and standards of practice of medicine in NHP’s service area
- Sufficient medical and other experience, including knowledge of the Medicare program
