Job Summary
Conduct patient care duties under licensed practitioner delegation, performing both administrative and clinical tasks including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. Execute all aspects of the Associate Medical Assistant role while maintaining full clinical competency for assigned clinic locations. Adhere strictly to established policies, procedures, and regulations. Complete National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Apply if you possess qualifications for either the Associate Medical Assistant or Medical Assistant position.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
- Healthcare experience
- Medical Assistant experience
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months - Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment
- 6 months - Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR)
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
