Associate Media Planner

Job Summary
Associate Media Planner responsible for assisting in developing comprehensive omnichannel media campaigns, including channel strategy, RFPs, spend projections by channel/tactic, and collaboration with internal teams to integrate media plans with larger marketing programs. Key duties include administrative and executional support (status reports, traffic sheets, financials, research, planning/buying assistance, campaign management, relationship building), knowledge-building of media tools and brands, managing relationships with media vendors, coordinating with digital strategy/account/PM/creative peers, ensuring accurate ad trafficking QA, and maintaining spec sheets and asset trackers. Must possess basic media knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative, proactive approach to work.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years relevant experience and/or Bachelors degree in digital marketing, marketing, business, or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and/or media landscape
- Desire to learn pharmaceutical brands (and category), media channels, and media planning/buying processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can step out of their comfort zone
- Team player, willing to build relationships across internal counterparts (such as digital strategy, account, PM, etc.) as well as with outside vendors
