Job Summary
Associate Mechanical Design responsible for 2D to 3D drawing conversion, obtaining and evaluating design inputs, planning work to align with project schedules, basic/mechanical design tasks, checking drawings and BOMs, coordinating with Engineering-Manager for approvals, releasing fabrication drawings and BOMs, incorporating customer comments, obtaining interdisciplinary reviews/approvals, and checking material cutting layouts (sheet metal layouts preferred). Emphasis on SolidWorks-based design, use of Keytech and Tacton Studio for configuration, and experience with stainless-steel sheet metal or machined parts for food processing, packaging, dairy, chemical, and pharma industries. Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering
- 4-8 years of design experience
- SolidWorks
- Keytech (Preferred)
- Hands on experience on Tacton Studio & Model Configuration (Preferred)
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Experience with design of stainless-steel components of sheet metal or machined parts for the Food processing and packaging, Dairy, Chemical and Pharma industry
