(Associate) Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of battery and charger products for UAV applications. You will collaborate across ME/EE/SE/SYS departments, perform basic dimensioning and concept calculations, develop industrializable mechanical parts and fixtures (with a focus on injection molding), conduct rapid prototyping (3D printing), generate releasable drawings for procurement, prepare internal/external documentation (including BoM and assembly instructions), participate in product and production meetings, support tool/jig design for testing and validation, and contribute to continuous improvement of the ME department. Education of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of two years’ mechanical design experience are expected, along with Catia v5 proficiency, knowledge of manufacturing processes, strong communication skills in English (German welcome). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- min 2 years of experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency in Catia v5
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, casting, stamping)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- German language skills are welcome
- Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany
