Job Summary
Associate MDR Analyst responsible for joining Palo Alto Networks’ 24/7 Managed Detection and Response operations as an entry-level trainee, engaging in incident detection and response with mentorship, owning an incident lifecycle from outbreak to remediation after onboarding and training, and providing feedback to product, research, engineering and threat-hunting teams. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science, familiarity with security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, Proxy), basic cybersecurity principles, and strong analytical and communication skills. Role may involve morning/afternoon hours with occasional night shifts; located at the Bangalore, India office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science with minimum CGPA 7
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, Proxy)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
