Job Summary
Entry-level Associate Material Handler for 2nd shift in Largo, FL. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, issuing, packaging and shipping materials (raw materials and finished goods); chemical handling and mail room duties; maintaining safety and 5S standards; generating and using APWs from counting scales; moving gas cylinders between buildings; organizing materials to maximize efficiency; performing inventory tasks and supporting purchasing, planning, and production; rotating through various manufacturing processes and performing housekeeping tasks to keep the area safe and organized; willing to work overtime and in a high-performance team environment.
Required Qualifications
- entry-level warehouse position
- previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- able to handle chemical and hazardous waste using safe procedures
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- willing to work second shift (3:24pm-11:54pm)
- safety conscious and able to follow safety policies
- able to rotate through manufacturing processes
- ability to lift and move materials as part of duties
