Job Summary
Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly and installation tasks associated with manufacturing power transformers. Responsibilities include operating machinery, inspecting quality, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree in electrical or a related field, alongside relevant experience. Skills in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and following technical instructions are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year Associate’s Degree from a recognized school in electrical or related technical field
- Minimum one year experience in testing or utilities or equivalent education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Multiple years’ experience as electrician or service technician (high voltage equipment and/or utility industry preferred)
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
- Developed math and electrical engineering skills
- Broad experience using inspection tools, instruments and equipment
- Developed computer skills for entering and retrieving data
