Associate Manufacturing Scientist I (2nd shift)

Job Summary
Follow batch records, SOPs, and work instructions to detail operations and document all activities in batch records and logbooks. Operate large-scale oligonucleotide manufacturing equipment including synthesizers, purification skids, and lyophilizers while preparing reagents, mobile phases, and columns. Perform oligonucleotide analysis via LCMS, track raw material usage in D365 ERP, and maintain a clean workspace while complying with GMP protocols. Act as production campaign lead, assist with personnel training, and communicate with cross-functional groups. Work 2nd shift hours from 1pm to 11:30pm Monday through Thursday with a 10% shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or another scientific discipline or equivalent relevant manufacturing experience
- 0–2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industries
- Ability to follow detailed written procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Candidates must have current, valid authorization to work in the country where this role is located
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Hands-on experience with chromatography, filtration, purification, or analytical instrumentation such as LC-MS
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, batch records, or ERP systems
