Associate, Manufacturing (Night Shift)

Manufacturing Associate, Novato responsible for establishing and maintaining BioMarin’s manufacturing processes to support clinical trials and commercial production. Key duties include operating biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes (cell culture, cell production, protein harvest, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, protein purification, and formulation of bulk drug substance), providing feedback on procedures, ensuring cGMP compliance and quality systems (Deviations, CAPAs, Change Requests, Action/Alert Reports), and supporting project work and new technology integration (TrackWise, ERP). The role emphasizes quality assurance/control, documentation, and knowledge of automated systems (LIMS, MES, PI), with a schedule on the Night shift (Backhalf Graves, Wed-Fri alternating Saturday 6pm-7am).
