Job Summary
Associate Manufacturing Engineer on 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) at Moog Aircraft Group Electronics Operations Engineering Team. Responsibilities include providing production assembly/test instructions, training and monitoring to maintain flight control electronics box builds; evaluating and implementing equipment to meet production requirements; ensuring design integrity, producibility, and quality; supporting other Moog departments to maintain quality, schedule, and cost objectives; coordinating with Program Management, Sales, and Purchasing for technical communications to customers and suppliers; organizing resources to analyze and solve production manufacturing problems; preparing and delivering technical presentations to management, employees, customers, and suppliers; supporting MRB analyses and corrective actions; participating in CAB as needed. Requirements include a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or AS with related experience, plus 0-2 years (or 3 years with AS) manufacturing experience; electronics manufacturing familiarity and IPC/J-STD-001 knowledge a plus; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills; willingness to learn. Salary range $75,000–$90,000 annually; relocation assistance provided; US export-controlled information access required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or comparable field of technology, plus 0-2 years of applicable experience OR Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 3 years applicable manufacturing experience
- Electronics experience preferred
