Associate, Manufacturing (Day Shift)

Manufacturing Associate at BioMarin's Novato site responsible for large-scale bioprocess operations in Upstream or Downstream, including preparing buffers and media, managing raw material inventory, and operating process equipment. Performs cleaning and sterilization of parts and equipment, demonstrates knowledge of biotech manufacturing processes and equipment (cell culture, depth and tangential flow filtration, chromatography, protein purification, formulation, and/or buffer and media operations), applies basic chemistry/biology principles, and maintains compliance with cGMP, SOPs, batch records, and data capture. Shift-based role with potential weekends/off-hours/holidays; requires lifting up to ~25 pounds and use of PPE. Educational paths include a Bachelor's or Associate degree in related fields or biotech certificates with relevant experience.
