Job Summary
Analyze financial services operational capabilities to align business objectives with process, technology, and risk management needs. Interpret data and trends to identify improvements in operational processes, then convert business requirements into functional specifications for implementation. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and workstreams across regional and global client initiatives while developing operational capability designs and process re-engineering solutions. Lead external meetings, structure analysis for junior consultants, and synthesize findings into impactful client presentations. Mentor delivery teams and contribute to the firm's intellectual capital by coaching ownership of day-to-day project management.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- 7 years and above in operational excellence consulting or business analyst in banks
- Experience in operational process re-engineering for financial services industry/ banks
- Experience in financial services/ banks card operations - authorization, settlement, clearing and chargeback processes
- Experience managing clients and internal stakeholders
- Logical, structured thinking
- Affinity for numerical analysis
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to prioritize activities/task to ensure timely delivery
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language
- Good presentation skills both in terms of presentation building and delivering presentations
- Relevant knowledge on local market operational requirements, such as cards domestic transaction processing
- Understanding of operation and operation risk requirements driven by government regulations
- Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties
- Experience coaching junior delivery consultants
- Relevant industry expertise
- Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines
