Job Summary
Build UI for games on the next-generation casino platform and manage a squad of 6-8 developers. Lead technical direction by guiding future platform technologies, conducting design and code reviews, and enforcing coding standards. Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external customers, and partners while overseeing end-to-end delivery of game features. Handle live production incidents, manage the recruitment process, and mentor team members to foster a healthy productive culture. Apply engineering best practices and Agile methodologies to ensure software quality and strategic alignment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years people management skills including experience managing development teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience interacting with customers, external partners and business stakeholders
- Demonstrable talent coding in JavaScript / TypeScript and their application with design patterns
- Experience with JavaScript libraries or similar framework
- Disciplined approach to testing
- Good knowledge of large-scale website or application architectures and technology stacks
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with various development methodologies; Agile, TDD or Kanban
- Experience in deploying and configuring Web Applications
- Experience reviewing others work for performance, security, efficiency and portability
- Ability to multi-task and rapidly switch contexts
- Ideally 5+ years of experience building web applications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
Desired Qualifications
- Performance tuning skills, including refactoring, code profiling and monitoring
- Automated testing and CI
- Some scripting skills: Bash, Python, etc...
- Release management and configuration management experience
