Job Summary
Conduct initial analysis of spend data, supplier performance, and procurement trends to identify optimization opportunities. Support end-to-end sourcing activities for assigned indirect categories, including RFI/RFP management, negotiations, and supplier selection. Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships across North America while monitoring performance through KPIs and business reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and align purchasing strategies with operational priorities. Lead 1-2 smaller sourcing initiatives from RFI through contract finalization within the first year. Assist in implementing process simplification and automation initiatives to evolve procurement into a more strategic function.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of Experience in purchasing or related field
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced data analysis capabilities
- Ability to transform complex spend data into actionable business insights
- Advanced Excel skills
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally through strong written and verbal communication
- The ability to work with integrity, a sense of trust and high level of motivation
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day
- Light to moderate lifting may be required

- Experience with procurement reporting tools, ERP systems, and data visualization platforms
