Associate Manager, Process Development Engineer - Personal Care

Job Summary
Lead the development and scale-up of new Personal Care products across SC Johnson's Lifestyle Brands network. Partner with the Production Services Manager to ensure products deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across internal and external manufacturing locations. Conduct design-of-experiments and lab/pilot plant studies to ensure scalability and robustness of formulas; develop process instructions, quality specs, and formula specifications; create qualification plans and equipment capability studies; assess contract manufacturers and suppliers for manufacturing capabilities, costs, and quality systems; troubleshoot quality and production issues; perform commercialization risk assessments ahead of scale-up; collaborate with Engineering and other groups to improve site operation, efficiency, and capability; participate in project teams and identify opportunities for product, cost, supply assurance, and quality improvements; travel up to 33% and work in Racine, WI with partial remote flexibility post-onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years' experience with a focus on formulation scale-up, commercialization, qualification, and hands-on troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years' experience in the personal care/cosmetics industry
