Job Summary
Imaging Department leader overseeing daily operations in Banner Health's Tucson imaging services. The Associate Manager Medical Imaging will supervise and develop staff, participate in hiring and performance evaluations, drive process improvements, manage department goals and budgets, and ensure safe, patient-centered care within the MRI/Nuclear Medicine/CAT Scan/Mammography imaging programs. This role requires clinical radiologic expertise, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate across departments to support quality patient care and program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent program for other modalities (MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CAT Scan, Mammography, Diagnostic Imaging)
- Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or modality qualified licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT)
- Licensure by state regulatory agency required, if applicable
- Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty required (MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CAT Scan, Mammography), if applicable
- BLS certification required
- 4+ years of experience relevant to patient population
- Superior communication and leadership capabilities
