Job Summary
Review financial statements of Limited Partnerships/Joint Ventures and supervise a small team of approximately 2-3 accountants. Perform timely and accurate review of accounting entries and ledger reconciliation while understanding STAT and GAAP rules for Other Invested Assets. Coordinate and monitor all daily and monthly deliverables, participate in various analysis and special projects, and monitor data integrity. Support external and internal audit reviews. This role is based in the Letterkenny office on a hybrid 2/3 days in-office schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Excellent experience in Accounting/Investment Operations with supervisory experience
- Detailed oriented with ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented and fast paced environment
- Strong accounting, research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements
- Hybrid work arrangement (2/3 days in the office)
Desired Qualifications
- Public accounting experience and/or CPA
- Private Equity experience
- Strong familiarity with Prudential systems (Oracle ledger, Investran, MRI)
