Job Summary
Associate Manager Data Analytics leads cross-domain data investigations, traces data across source systems, and delivers validated, data-backed answers to business questions. This hands-on role involves understanding data relationships across Hershey’s domains, validating data products with Data Product Owners, and aligning analytical work with governance standards. Responsibilities include decomposing business questions into data requirements, profiling datasets to identify quality issues, and collaborating with Data Governance, Data Engineers, and domain teams to ensure data accuracy and meaningful analytics. Preferred skills include Python for data analysis and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and Databricks. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related analytical field and 2–4 years of experience in data analysis or analytics engineering, with strong SQL capabilities and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related analytical field
- 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or a data-focused role
- Demonstrated ability to write complex SQL, work with relational data across multiple sources, and reason about how data connects across systems
- Solid SQL skills for querying, joining, and analyzing data across multi-source environments
- Analytical reasoning and data connectivity across domains
- Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business audiences
