Job Summary
Lead and manage the Enterprise Business Claims team to deliver timely, accurate claim assessments and settlements. Adjudicate Group Major Claims (Death, TPD, Critical Illness, Disability, Terminal Illness, etc) and Group Medical Claims (Hospital & Surgical, Major Medical, Outpatient Specialist, Outpatient Clinical, Dental, etc) with prudent, equitable decisions aligned to service levels. Ensure regulatory compliance, corporate guidelines, policy wording, and reinsurance terms. Collaborate with underwriters and other units to meet SLAs; manage investigations with claims adjusters, legal advisors, medical institutions, claimants, financial consultants, and other insurers; handle enquiries, service recovery, complaints, and appeals; maintain regular follow-up with claimants and providers. Provide leadership, mentoring, and day-to-day operational guidance to the claims team, promoting accuracy, quality, and timely processing. Requirements include 5–7 years in Life/Medical claims, knowledge of Employee Benefit medical insurance, and prior supervisory experience; education of Diploma or Degree; strong English communication and team collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Life and Medical claims handling with insurers or insurance related industry
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Employee Benefit medical insurance is a must
