Job Summary
Associate Manager After Hours Operations at ADTRAV Travel Management oversees a team of agents delivering travel arrangements for corporate and government clients, coordinates after-hours coverage including weekends, holidays, and weeknights, reviews time punches and time-off requests, provides coaching and training on procedures, and assists with payroll-related tasks. The role requires managing customer service quality, ensuring accurate itineraries, researching agent and client issues, monitoring call volume, and maintaining familiarity with ADTRAV products and travel systems (GDS/Sabre, Open Skies, Fly America). The position demands strong leadership, documentable experience in corporate/government travel, capability to work remotely per company policy, and eligibility for government clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years travel consultant/travel agent experience, preferably in a call center
- Experience booking travel for corporate clients; government clients preferred
- Strong knowledge of Sabre GDS; Amadeus a plus
- Experience as a team lead or mentor
- Working knowledge of Fly America, Open Skies and federal travel regulations
- Experience booking international travel
- Strong computer and typing skills; proficient with multiple applications
- Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work remotely and meet home-office requirements
- Able to work after-hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass credit, criminal, and/or employment background check
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain government clearance
