Job Summary
Provide case coverage as a Mako Product Specialist, delivering clinical product support, on-site guidance during surgical procedures, and training to surgeons and operating room staff. Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans, assist in implant planning, and maintain local Mako consigned inventory. Process sales orders, provide forecast input, and submit detailed reports on case reviews, service issues, and customer complaints to management and regulatory teams. Actively sell clinical benefits, conduct hands-on demonstrations, and build relationships with key hospital staff to drive procedural volume.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales and/or technical role within the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
- Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
- proficient in using computers and MS Office tools
- Knowledge of the operating room environment is required
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and processes
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident and able to take ownership and lead when required
- Ability to interpret and analyse written specifications, and support customers in selecting products that meet those requirements
- Highly detail-oriented
- Must pass MAKO course examinations and be certified by MPS within probationary period
