Job Summary
Support the Quality Managers team in linguist recruitment, vetting profiles for new clients, and coordinating their testing. Manage operational quality activities including data extraction, analysis, report preparation, and quality auditing using Translated's tech suite. Monitor linguist performance during trial periods by providing feedback, boosting engagement, and maintaining direct contact. Handle administrative tasks such as submitting payment requests for freelancers. This six-month on-site internship at Translated's Pi Campus in Rome requires a degree in linguistics or related fields, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in CAT tools and Google Workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred
- Understanding of translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance
- Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools and other translation software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Excellent computer and web skills required with a particular focus on G-suite and Google sheets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
