Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including Creative Service, Celebrity, and Media Services Agreements while identifying and mitigating legal, commercial, and operational risks. Manage day-to-day contract execution, maintain a database of executed agreements, and conduct due diligence activities. Support litigation matters by coordinating with business divisions for facts gathering, drafting internal demand notices and rejoinders, and preparing periodic reports on litigation status. Ensure internal compliance on intellectual property rights queries and attend conference calls for contract negotiations with clients and vendors. Requires a law graduate with 2–5 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong analytical skills to handle complex commercial contract queries.
Required Qualifications
- Law graduate from a reputed law school
- 2 – 5 years of relevant post‐qualification experience
- Strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills
- Sufficient ability to handle IPR issues
- Ability to coordinate litigation matters
- Proficiency in English language
- Hands on exposure for working knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Word)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend complex Commercial Contract related queries
- Ability to review complex legal contracts
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning
- Team player with good interpersonal skill
Desired Qualifications
- Additional qualification as Company Secretary (CS) or Intermediate CS
- Prior experience in the media or advertising industry
